A THC drink (or cannabis beverage) is a drink (water, soda, tea, kombucha, seltzer, cocktail etc.) into which a cannabis-derived extract containing THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is infused or emulsified.These drinks may use nanoemulsions or other delivery technologies to disperse THC in liquid form, enabling absorption when swallowed.

Most THC drinks, especially those made with modern nano-emulsion technology, are absorbed quickly. Effects typically begin within 10 to 30 minutes, and you should feel the full peak within about 45 to 60 minutes (this is much faster than traditional edibles (like gummies), which can take 1-2 hours). Note that onset can depend on factors such as whether you’ve eaten recently, your metabolism and the formulation of the drink.

Some general guidelines (not medical advice):

• Start very low (e.g. 2.5–5 mg THC) especially if you’re inexperienced. If it’s your first time. start with half a can. The standard advice is to “start low and go slow.”

• Wait sufficiently (maybe 1–2 hours) before considering more, because onset is delayed.

• Track how you feel and adjust doses slowly over time.

• Don’t mix with alcohol or other psychoactive substances until you understand your tolerance.

A 5 mg THC drink gives a mild buzz and relaxation; at 10 mg effects are more pronounced.
